Yulara is a small community in Northern Territory and the closest accommodation to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. This is home to the Ayers Rock Resort which is very popular tourist destination for visitors wanting to see Uluru (Ayers Rock) and Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) - amazing rock formations in the Red Centre of Australia.

We spent several nights in the Ayers Rock Campground staying in the caravan while enjoying a variety of walks in the National Park and relaxing around the pool - guests can use any of the pools around resort. A free shuttle bus operates around Yulara between the Town Square , hotels, bars and restaurants. Of course you can also cycle around the area with bike paths provided - all flat and easy riding. There are various accommodation options apart from the campground which range from 5 star luxury motel rooms and apartments to back-packer lodges - something for everyone.

There are several galleries around Yulara display Aboriginal Art and the Indigenous Art Markets operate every day in the Town Square Lawn Area selling locally made arts and crafts.
