This unique  Australian purebred camper has been designed and manufactured in Brisbane for Australian conditions.

The camper is 100% made in Australia using local suppliers and materials.

The NOCKABOUT is 100% Australian owned and made, how many other camper trailer companies offer this on their websites.

This camper is designed and manufactured by Dals Canvas, a family business that has been manufacturing all custom canvas and camper trailers for other major companies  for 27 years, and in the canvas industry for 38 Years, a fully qualified tradesman within the industry, with a passion for manufacturing camper trailers. After constructing a camper tent for a motor bike trailer in 1988 for a client was the start of the love affair with camper trailers. We then manufactured our first commercial trailer and registered the NOCKABOUT trademark in 1995 with a keen interest and following from clients, the NOCKABOUT camper has always followed 2 philosophy's Australian made and a niche market , allowing the client to customise and fit out their camper exactly how they want from the weekend get away to the far north trk and even living for months in them  , we like to treat our clients with a personal service , so they feel like a family member.

Upon moving to Brisbane and re establishing the business in queensland , we spent the next nine years manufacturing camper tops for other large companies in queensland .Three years ago Dal saw a need for a smaller compact camper trailer that suits the vast majority of Australian owner of the smaller cars, whether it is a sedan or smaller 4WD. He also the need for a smaller camper because, let’s face it, not many of us get to take months off at a time these days, we are lucky to grab a week here and there, or the occasional weekend jaunt, after much planning and designing the welcomed rebirth of the NOCKABOUT Campers- Series 2

This little beauty is not only unique in design its lightweight  and easy to tow, it’s easy to erect and stow away (just a few minutes – have a look at the youtube: link coming soon...), for those late night set ups, or early morning starts. It is also light, easier on the hip pocket for towing and fuel costs as well, it weighs in at a tiny 500 KG, great for any style of car, whether a 4WD or family sedan .

The size of this camper is deceiving , if you’re staying put for that great long weekend on the beach , place all the awnings and a couple of walls on it and BAMM you have an amazing 20 square metres of living space ,enough room for the kids and rover as well.

This camper can be as basic as you like, so that the favourite picnic basket fits in or there are a range of optional extras, all dependent on what you the customer needs.

The NOCKABOUT camper meets the needs of the average aussie whether a small family or the empty nesters.
