Sandy Bay is a small beach near Port Elliott in South Australia - just along the drive into the Port Elliott Holiday Park, and within the Basham Beach Conservation Park. There are walking paths to the Beach from the car parking area. A number of signs are dotted along the path explaining some of the vegetation which was quite interesting.
Warning signs to be aware of snakes so we made sure we staying on the path and didn't wander into the bushes. During our stay in this area it was very windy and the seas were rough - this might explain the large amounts of seaweed that had collected on the beach.
